Math Builder 3: Daily Math Quiz to Build and Embed Math Skills in Area and Perimeter

Welcome to Maths Builder "Area and Perimeter". This resource is a series of PowerPoint slides designed to be used each day as a warm up activity to revise, embed and extend skills and concepts within maths

This particular element of "Area and Perimeter" focuses on squares and rectangles in a range of contexts. Complexity quickly develops to include compound shapes and shapes with "holes" within them, encouraging pupils to use their mathematical skills to solve problems within the context of area and perimeter.

INSPIReducation have used all of the resources from the Maths Builder range within the classroom and have seen a huge impact in the development of mathematical skills, and as a result, a deepening of maths understanding as well as confidence in the areas focused upon.
