Math Builder 5: Daily Math Activities to Build and Embed Skills in Fractions, Decimals and Percentages

Welcome to Maths Builder "Fractions, Decimals and Percentages". This resource is a series of 36 PowerPoint slides designed to be used each day as a warm up activity to revise, embed and extend skills and concepts within maths.

This particular element of "Fractions, Decimals and Percentages" focuses on number in a range of contexts. Complexity quickly develops fraction work to include :

• equivalency,
• changing improper fractions to proper,
• mixed fractions to improper,
• fractions of an amount, +, -, x and dividing fractions by whole numbers and by other fractions.
• In decimals and percentages, children are encouraged to find decimals of an amount and percentages of an amount.

This resource encourages pupils to use their mathematical skills to solve problems within the context of fractions, decimals and percentages.
