Description

This interactive Power Point classroom game is an excellent review activity for learning all notes of both the treble and bass clef. Sharing the PowerPoint for self-play would allow students to play this game to practice notes independently, in music centers, or on a classroom smart board.

This game quizzes students on each note of the treble and bass clefs. This game is versatile and can be used in many lessons in the elementary music classroom.

This Power Point can be used these ways:

  • Divide class into two teams. Send one player from each team to the board and who ever says the correct answer wins a point for their team.
  • Play the game on the Smart Board on front of the whole class. Students raise their hands to answer the music notes.
  • I like to use this Power Point as a visual aid when I begin to teach the Bass Clef. Students always like using technology, especially when there is a 'game' involved.
  • I allow students to play this game on my iPad as a music center.
  • Students can play this game as a small group as a classroom reward.
  • Set a timer. Have students compete for the title of "fastest note reader"
