Description
Thank you for your consideration of “Power Words! Vocabulary Building Flashcards Set 4”! We are confident that you will be extremely pleased with these review cards for your student scholars to use! This product can also be used as a stand-alone set for vocabulary building!
We recommend that you print these cards on 6 sheets of card stock, which you can then cut apart and laminate for a strong, long lasting, resource. When you print double sided from the templates, four key words, along with sample sentences using each word as examples, will be on the front of the sheet, and the parts of speech and definitions will appear on the reverse side aligned with the correct word. In addition, with set 4 we have adjusted the words so that similar parts of speech will be on the same pages. You will find that all of the words on sheet 1 are adjectives; all of the words on sheets 2 and 3 are nouns; and those on sheets 4, 5, and 6 are verbs. Our reasoning for this is to make it easier for you if you would like to color code your word walls by using a different color card stock for each part of speech (blue – noun, green – verb, yellow – adverb, orange – adjective?). Just an idea!
The words reviewed in this set are:
Arid; Astounding; Luscious; Merciless; Bush; Cradle; Gourd; Orphan; Plains; Rebel; Route; Sorghum; Backfire; Drone; Flicker; Graze; Herd; Hesitate; Litter; Object; Protest; Scatter; Scramble; Scurry
