Queen Elizabeth I Interview Activity

Students complete a 3 part interview activity to review Queen Elizabeth I and her reign. The first part has 5 questions for students to review factual parts of Elizabeth's reign. In the second part students "interview" her right after her coronation (5 questions and answers), in the third part they conduct her last interview on her deathbed (5 questions and answers), and the last task is a bonus creative opportunity. An answer key is included where appropriate. This would work for a sub. 

Sample questions include: 
--How did Edward and Mary’s reigns affect the approach Elizabeth took to being monarch?
--Compare and contrast Elizabeth’s first reign with her “second” reign, that of the post-Spanish Armada defeat. Identify at least 3 items of note, whether positive or negative. Which reign most impacts her legacy today? Explain your thought process. 
--What is the most important item to you in being the head of the realm?
--How differently, or not, would your reign have been had you married period, married an Englishman, or married a foreigner?
--Do you have any regrets from your time on the throne?
