Description

Students will review the American Revolution by mixing and matching 34 terms/battles/people/ideas/etc to their images and identifications, answering 10 review questions, and completing a creative task. Students create their own images for 4 terms (a written example is included). This includes a page of teacher instructions and the answers where appropriate.

Sample questions include:
--If Sam Adams had been a loyalist rather than a patriot, could America have still won independence? Why or why not?
--Why is the phrase, “no taxation without representation” associated with the Revolutionary War?
--How did the colonists try dealing with King George, and resolving their differences, prior to the Declaration of Independence?
--Identify and explain two ways colonists saw themselves as a different people than those living in Britain.
--Explain the importance of Common Sense to the Revolution’s outcome, and the patriot’s cause.
