Description

Introduce or reinforce your students' knowledge of folktales by having them read a great folktale, "Connor O'Malley Learns a Lesson." This descriptive story comes with a "What is a Folktale?" anchor chart to post in your classroom, vocabulary word cards to use along with the story, and some great higher level thinking reading comprehension questions that accompany the story and are correlated with Common Core Standards. Great for use with small groups! Great for second, third, and fourth grade!

Additionally, you also receive a great, informative Readers' Theater for your class to perform called "Why Do We Celebrate St. Patrick's Day?" This great play explains the history and symbols of St. Patrick's Day, as well as reinforces a "No Pinching" policy in your classroom! NEW! Map of Ireland with map skill questions for students to answer.

10 Parts in Reader's Theater or over 30 to divide among your entire class!
What a terrific way for students to learn about the holidays that we celebrate, as well as to learn a neat new folktale!
