Description
Visualizing and Verbalizing 12 or 10 Structure Words Chart and Cards for speech language and reading comprehension lessons and activities. Structure words and structure word questioning strategies are used to guide students through the comprehension process to help them understand what they see and read.
When using Structure Words, students look at a picture or text and then look at the structure words and the accompanying questions. They respond the the questions with what they see in the picture or imagine in their mind while reading text. This strategy of visualizing and verbalizing helps students "see" details and strengthen their reading and language comprehension.
Great for RTI, intervention, small group, enrichment, ESL, special education resource/supplemental instruction, autism, speech therapy. My SE co-teacher and I use these products in collaboration with or as a supplement to the Nanci Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing curriculum.
BONUS: "Good Students..." mini-poster to support visualizing activities.
