Description
Students will read 2 articles from the National World War 2 (WW2) Museum and answer 45 questions about the long term and short term causes of Pearl Harbor. They will then complete 5 comprehension/extension tasks (sorting chart, comparing and contrasting significance, and summaries) to demonstrate a further understanding of the material. The answers are included where appropriate and this would be great for a sub if your students have access to technology!
Sample questions include:
--Why do you think Japan was so intently isolationist?
--Summarize the significance (immediate and long term) of Japan taking control of Port Arthur.
--In what way was the Meiji Restoration a turning point in Japanese history?
