Description
Welcome! This listing features a pair of full-page exams about tissues and membranes for a unit in Human Anatomy and Physiology. This assessment set reinforces the characteristics, classification, functions, and examples of all four types of tissue (nervous, connective, epithelial, and muscle).
Students will also perform the following tasks.
-
Differentiate the two main kinds of membranes (connective and epithelial) and identify their sub classifications
-
Match the functions of membranes and identify the organs they cover
-
Classify the three types of simple cells that make up epithelial tissue - squamous, cuboidal, and columnar
The tests mirror each other. The second one comes in handy if your district requires its staff to offer retakes. The first page on test A has three fill-in-the-blank sections, each with a word bank. Test B has the same fill-in-the-blank sections but with a combined word bank instead. The backside is home to four matching sections where all the examples are different between the tests.
This listing comes with a pair of keys with the answers in red font.
