Who Sabotaged the Christmas Play? (script-only version)

Who Sabotaged the Christmas Play will engage students in critical thinking. A class of Grade 5 students are preparing for their winter show and things go terribly wrong. Some characters don't like their part, and others have outside distractions going on. The adults have access to all the backstage areas, which makes them suspicious too. The question is whose motive is strong enough to wreck the show.

Before the final scene, students will examine evidence slides and make their final predictions. Then everyone will read the reveal where the suspicious characters are eliminated one by one.

In addition to critical thinking, students will practice reading fluency and singing. The run time including casting is 90 minutes.
