Description

This is a fun way to encourage individual research as well as collaboration among your class. Each student is given a piece of the poster, which they will color on and eventually piece together with the rest of their classmates. Each piece of paper has research questions that they will use to find out information about these "Wonder Women." The teacher will assign each student one of the "Wonder Women" to research and briefly present for the class. Your students will be introduced to a number of INCREDIBLE Women who have made an enormous impact in the STEM field.

There is individual work and whole class discussions that take place and that's one of many reasons why I love these collaborative posters and projects. I love assignments that allow my students to be creative, they have a specific task to complete, they can have, and. meaningful conversations with classmates.

This file comes with instructions and two posters, a large poster for whole class and a smaller poster for smaller groups, plus a single page that students can color.

*March is National Women's History Month and this is a project that I use throughout the month to introduce my students to "Wonder Women" in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
