World Geography Knowledge: MAPPING - Position, Global location, Print and Go

This resource has been designed to support a student’s knowledge of World Geography for the key geographical features of:

• Continents
• Deserts
• Mountains
• Oceans
• Rainforests
• Volconoes
• World Rivers

Each resource is a world map with the line of Equator, Tropic of Capricorn and Tropic of Cancer included for students to name. Then, linked with the theme of each map, a number of features are labelled which students need to research and label accurately. They can use world maps, internet sources or their own learning knowledge as an assessment of learning and knowledge.

Each element is on one A4 page ready for photocopying and includes a separate answer key for ease of assessment of student knowledge and accuracy in learning. Whilst prepared in color, the colors chosen can be copies in black and white whilst retaining its clarity. Simply print, copy and go!

This resource can be used as a warm up activity, home based learning, remote learning and a Geography center. It allowed our students to develop a clear understanding of global locations with varying world issues currently in the news.

These resources are taken from our Geographical Escape Rooms within continents, deserts, mountains, oceans, rainforests, volcanoes and world rivers – each have 10 different challenges for students to solve to escape the room – this is one of the challenges taken from each room.
