Description
This lesson is all about life at home during World War II. Students will analyze propaganda from the era to learn about the topic including ideas such as victory gardens, women in the workforce, and war bonds. The download includes a presentation full of information and several propaganda examples for your class to analyze. A written lesson plan has additional notes for the teacher on how to implement this lesson (See the end of the slideshow.) Following the lecture and class discussion, your students can work in groups to create a quick creative project using WWII propaganda.
My students really enjoyed looking at the propaganda and imagining what life must have been like during the war!
