Description

WWII Stations Activity Bundle Pack - Completely Student Driven!

Get your students moving and engaged by taking your students through the major topics of World War II! These activities are from a U.S. History perspective!

These 3 stations activities consist of 34 total stations that can be either combined or broken up into smaller/larger stations to suit your needs. The activity also comes with a note page for each station and corresponding analysis/critical thinking question packet. In addition, a link is provided to a spotify playlist created for this activity that can be played while the students work through the stations. My students love when we connect music from the time period/decade to the topics we are discussing in class.

These stations activities on World War II were designed to be completely student-driven and should be engaging, thought-provoking, inquiry-based and challenging activities for your students.

I use these activities as completely student-led activities where students can work in groups of four, pairs, or individually. For these activities, I do not use a timer for each station, but a running clock for students to keep their time remaining in class. I find this method creates a more relaxed collaborative Smithsonian-like learning environment. However, using a timer can also be very effective to keep students on task, or if you use this as a traditional group station activity or jig-saw activity.

One thing to make sure of is to remind your students the day before to bring their headphones to class. The QR codes at each station will immerse your students in short supplemental instructional videos.
