This TRTW (Talk Read Talk Write) is based around a short (1:23), narrated cartoon video that could work as an introduction to a lesson, a station in a rotation or as homework. It is a free video and available 24/7 and accessible by going to my YouTube channel (Keith Piirto) or just scan the QR code in the lesson. I hope it is helpful to you and your students this year. In this lesson, the video serves as reinforcement of the discussion and reading that precedes it. The lesson assessment is a short writing piece based on the thesis, "The XYZ Affair was an embarrassment and a success for John Adams."
