This play introduces students to one of the greatest spy stories in American history. Had Benedict Arnold’s treasonous plot to turn West Point over to the British succeed the success of the American Revolution would have been placed in great jeopardy. Additional features include discussion questions, extension activities and a bibliography.

  1. Students will learn the details regarding the British and American occupation of Philadelphia during the American Revolution.
  2. Students will learn the details of the plot to turn West Point over to the British.
  3. Students will understand the consequences of treason and spying during wartime.
