Description

Students engage with readings and activities to better develop background knowledge on a wide variety of plant and animal ADAPTATIONS. Students then create an imaginary organism based on ADAPTATION choices, which are provided.

A high interest, fun, hands on lab experience for students ranging from 6th-12th grade. Use as either an introduction or a review of the concept.

The experience has built in ENL and special education modifications to allow all learners access to the curriculum (developed with a co-teacher). The experience has been tested and implemented with well over 100 students to ensure quality.

Lab station materials provided along with a student worksheet.
