This bundle contains a series of six biographies on individuals associated with the women's rights movement in the United States during the 19th century.
The biographies can either be printed directly OR used readily converted to digital activities using Google Slides.
The first biography focuses on Elizabeth Cady Stanton and her relationship with Susan B. Anthony, her participation in the Seneca Falls Convention of 1848, and her role in writing sections of the Declaration of Sentiments.
The second biography focuses on Sojourner Truth focuses and her escape from slavery in New York, her attendance at the 1851 Ohio Women's Rights Convention, and her widely-recognized speech, "Ain't I a Woman?"
The third biography focuses on Susan B. Anthony and her involvement in the temperance movement, her role in founding both women's rights and anti-slavery organizations, and her 1871 trial for attempting to vote.
The fourth biography focuses on Lucretia Mott and her involvement in progressive and abolitionist causes, her role at the Seneca Falls Convention in 1848, and her participation in the Free Religious Association of 1867.
The fifth biography focuses on Harriet Tubman, emphasizing her role as a "conductor" along the Underground Railroad and her involvement in the women's suffrage movement.
