This Emoji Narrative Writing to Sources Project is wonderful for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. This fictional writing product teaches and models for students how to use media sources to enhance their story writing and encourage collaboration with peers. This will take you day by day through the plan. It includes a QR code with the link to the instructional video.

These pages show a wide variety of emojis to help kids start thinking and interacting with peers to talk about their story plan using emojis for the different story elements.

This page helps kids quickly make a plan for what that want to be in the beginning, middle and end of their story. There are guiding questions in each part to remind them which story elements should be in each section.
