Description

This listing features a full-page unit test about energy classification, power calculations, and potential/kinetic energy problems. I utilize this resource in my middle school physical science course.
  • In Part I, students will classify the examples as being a form of nuclear, kinetic, chemical, thermal, light, radiant, sound, gravitational potential, elastic potential, or electrical energy.
  • In Part II, students will solve for power, force, time, or distance using the provided power equations.
  • In Part III, students will determine the mass, vertical height, or potential energy using the displayed equation.
  • In Part IV, students will calculate the mass, velocity, or kinetic energy using the provided equation.

This listing includes a two-page key with the answers in colored font. All of the mathematical operation answers honor the rules of significant figures.

This PDF file will become editable upon conversion to Microsoft Word using an Adobe Acrobat Reader DC app.
