Description
World Geography students will review 19 landforms from physical geography by matching the term, image, and identification. They also rewrite the definitions in their own words or complete an alternate task. Lastly, students connect what they learned about landforms to where they live. This can be done individually, in a pair, or in small groups, I would recommend in pairs. The file includes a page with a thorough explanation with a few different ways suggested to utilize this activity and teacher instructions (in paragraph and step by step format).
The landforms included are:
archipelago, ocean, bay, gulf
lake, island, peninsula, delta
river, mouth, mountains, prairie
tributary, strait. volcano, plateau
canyon, plain, hills
