Nathan Gilson of "Understanding Who We Were"
Nathan has been teaching Social Studies in North and South Carolina since 2011. He has taught 7th and 8th grade history, splitting time between teaching World History and American History. Nathan graduated from Grove City College with an undergraduate degree in History, Wheeling Jesuit University with a teaching certificate add-on program, and will receive a Masters of Teaching History from Liberty University in the summer of 2018. Nathan has been contracted as an item-writer and constructed response item scorer for the North Carolina 9th grade World History End-Of-Course Exams, and has coached several Model United Nations academic teams. He currently lives in the Charlotte Metro area with his wife, three kids, and two dogs.
