Description
This activity combines process and content allowing students to use the included thirty-two well-researched pages to create their own personal book about the colonial city of Philadelphia and its citizens as they struggled through the events of the American Revolution.
Individual pages cover a variety of topics including revolutionary politics, British and American military operations, treason and spying, enslavement, medicine, famous personalities, colonial employment, and urban life.
When they have completed making their own book it can be used both as a content background about the American Revolution, and as springboard for a variety of extension activities related to this period in American history.
