Medical Terminology Dice Review Game

Dice game for students to review word elements and word building. Have your students review common prefixes, roots, and suffixes via this easy dice game. Students will cut and assemble their own dice which will be used to challenge other students to medical terminology. While playing, students must complete the response sheet using the dice from all available group members (best to split students in groups of 3 and assign one to use all prefixes, another all roots, and another all suffixes, then they use all 3 dice to construct terms each turn).  

Teachers can determine how long students can review for. You can have students review for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or to continue to play until they've accumulated a certain point value.

Save the dice and continue playing them as you continue to learn new word elements.

Many ways to use the resource. You may assign specific body system word elements or all word elements for reviewing. The more varied they are, the more students will review different terms.
