There are two different ways that this assignment can be incorporated into your classroom. This can be a used as just a worksheet or as a mini breakout activity. BreaIn this Mini Breakout Activity, students solve and graph one-step inequalities.kouts are similar to an escape room style activity where students work individually or in groups in order to open the lock box and claim their prize. In order to set up a breakout activity, follow the directions below.

Breakout Activity Directions:

You will need the following items to set up your breakout activity.

· Lockbox- I use Keter Plastic Toolbox’s from Walmart ($6-$12)

· Directional Lock- You can find these on Amazon

· Place a lockbox somewhere in the room with a reward inside. Rewards can be candy, class coupons, extra credit- whatever you can think of that will motivate your students. Lock this up with a directional lock with the combination code shown below. After students answer all questions and follow the directions, the code will be revealed to them.
