Let's be honest... teaching about Health Insurance can be far from exciting, but its importance is considerable. After seeing this type of activity played in similar ways, I thought it could just as easily be applied to health insurance. The game proved to be a lot of fun for the students while successfully reinforcing concepts like deductibles, co-insurance, co-pays and premiums.

Students will choose a Health Insurance Policy and then see how it compares when "life hits".

Connected the dots!

I think that after doing the other insurance activities offered from ampeduplearning this made all of the dots connect. I would love it if the Cards were formatted in a way that when they were printed the Catagory(medical/life) would print on the back and the situation would be on the front so they could pull them like a deck. I would like to laminate them along with the work along sheet for years of use. I wish there were also more life and medical cards so that we could play multiple times. The students LOVED this game.

The students enjoyed this game. The "Life" cards really got them! I would definitely watch the tutorial video before playing. For the first time playing I would stick with the class using all the same insurance. Especially if they are struggling with the concepts. Great game!!
