Texas History students will learn about the causes of and the events of the Texas Revolution with this mix of activities including: stations, jigsaws, primary source analysis (some with creative tasks and image analysis), a gallery walk, 2 types of timelines, review games, a battles graphic organizer, 3 options for a test, and more!  The stations and jigsaw activities include readings (with images where appropriate), graphic organizers (two different kinds), maps and timelines, analysis questions, fill in the blank and true/false comprehension checks, an image and caption matching activity, and more! Teacher instructions and the answers are included where appropriate. Many of these activities would be great for a sub!
