Times Tables Assessment - Quick and Easy

 This pack provides all you need to support your children learn, rehearse, revise and extend their understanding of multiplication and division facts. Over 7 pages of various grids, there is plenty here to support your work, including setting home activities for your children, to enhance learning in the area of multiplication and division facts.

The pack includes a completed multiplication grid up to and including 12 x 12.

An empty multiplication grid to allow the children to practice answering the questions, timing themselves to see how much they can compete in a given time period, or how long it takes them to complete the whole grid.

A completely empty grid to allow teachers to support extending the children and making the grids fit the needs of their learners.

There is also a jumbled times tables grid to assess whether the children know the tables in any order.

At the back of the pack, there are smaller grids which randomise tables, as often I have found that it is specific questions which children need to work on. This can be delivered in smaller grids, being faster and easier to deliver. These also work well for homework and targeting parents to support a shorter activity, rather than the whole grid.

You will also be able to view a smaller grid completed with the answers, but not the questions - this encourages children to use the inverse of their multiplication knowledge to solve the problems.

This has worked incredibly well in my classes, the children love completing the grid, particularly when it becomes competitive, when it is jumbled, and when I include questions which go beyond the normal times tables.
