Triangle Sum Theorem Self-Checking Digital Coloring Activity
Looking for a new and engaging way for your students to practice finding unknown angle values in a triangle? Math is fun again with this self-checking digital Triangle Sum Theorem Color Me Crazy Activity for Google Sheets! This 10-question middle school math activity is perfect for engaging your students in finding values of interior angles of a triangle where students will use the Triangle Sum Theorem. I hope your students have as much fun with this activity as mine did!
In this self-checking activity, students answer questions as they receive instant feedback. But wait, there’s more! Not only do students get immediate feedback along with a digital coloring page image to increase student engagement, but they actually get to color the image. In Color Me Crazy, after correct responses, students are able to customize the color of four different parts of the image. What’s the fun of a digital coloring page if students can’t choose the colors?
After solving the question on a whiteboard, scratch paper, or the provided workspace, students type their final answer into the appropriate cell. If correct, the student receives immediate feedback as they reveal and customize the digital coloring page.
In contrast, when students answer incorrectly, their answer turns red to let them know they should go back and revise their answer or seek help from the teacher.
