World War 2 Quote and Image Analysis

Students will read 13 quotes about different aspects of WW2 (WWII), answer 22 questions, and analyze 6 images. This would be great for a sub and the answers are included where appropriate.  

Sample questions include:
--How do Churchill’s sentiments contrast with those of Chamberlain just two years earlier? 
--How did the government justify its internment of Japanese-American citizens?
--Write 3 adjectives that would describe the German soldier’s experience. How do those adjectives support or counter the German propaganda efforts getting men enthusiastic about the war? 
--What was it about that event that would have led the soldier to describe it as the “whole world exploding?”
--Explain why Randolph believes the war may not be won.
