Comprehension Strategy: Summarizing: Cross-Curricular: Teacher Task Cards

Prior knowledge helps students focus on not only what is known, but also what is not known as well as what new there is to learn. Teaching strategies to utilize summarizing is extremely important as effective strategies help increase vocabulary, comprehension, and further academic success.
