I created this idea for my students when we were at the end of the Infection Control Unit. It dawned on me one day when I read a statistic that said people are 40% more likely to wash their hands and do a more thorough job if there is a sign nearby encouraging them to do so. I thought it would be good for my students to create and place the signs in and around the restrooms in the school, but I wanted them to look professional. I created this template as a way to encourage consistency among the posters as well as a way for less artistically talented students to feel like they could produce a quality product.
- Poster Template
- Various clip art options
- Statistics and Facts
- Instruction Sheet
The project is very customizable and the instructions lay out the different ways of completing the assignment.
The statistics used in the project are also a part of a game I created. You can find that lesson HERE!
