Easy Test Break Idea!
Silly Sentences Game
Fun Parts of Speech Review Game for Spring
Spring is here! And so are April showers and testing. Give your kids a break between tests with this fun "April Showers Bring May Flowers" parts of speech word review game.
Easy Test Break Idea (or anytime you need a laugh idea!)
This fun fill in the blanks game will have your kids laughing as they create silly stories about the rain showers in April all while reviewing the parts of speech like nouns, adjectives, and verbs. This is the perfect activity to use between testing, for indoor recess, or for a sub. It's a good review of the parts of speech.
Directions:
It's best to play this game in pairs. One person asks his/her partner to name something in the appropriate category. That person writes down what the other person says in the appropriate blank. When they are finished, they read the story out loud to their friend. Take turns and switch roles so each person gets a chance to be in each role.
