Who said teaching Body Mechanics had to be boring? Determined to create a lesson that didn't bore my students to sleep, I created these activities.
The first worksheet is a game where students will take educated guesses on the numbers associated with body mechanics statistics. Once the answers are revealed, they will take the difference between their numbers and the correct numbers. Lowest score wins!
The next worksheet is designed to just cover proper lifting techniques. Students will answer the questions in order to see their knowledge on the topic.
The final part of the packet is a lab where students are able to measure some parameters of their posture. This obviously isn’t a full comprehensive look at posture, but it is a great way for students to see where some of their postural weaknesses lie.

My students loved this! It was a lab that required NO prep, which is amazing, plus the statistics questions really got them interested in the topic.
